We were enjoying the company of my nephew and his beautiful family while eating at the Cotton Gin in Prosper, Texas.
Suddenly we hear his two young girls jumping up and down and yelling, “Mommy, Mommy, Mommy, I can see a rainbow – I can see a rainbow! It’s a rainbow! Come here, come here, come here!”
And sure enough, it was the biggest, brightest rainbow I have seen in a long while – maybe ever. The arch was from one side of the world to the other. I was just as excited as my two great nieces. (I ran to get my camera, and sure enough it wasn’t as bright as when we first saw it.) We couldn’t eat for looking at the rainbow. At one point in time, it was a double rainbow. Look in the top left hand corner, and you can barely see the double rainbow.
“It’s going away!” But look at the beautiful colors.
Of course, I was talking about leprechauns and pots of gold, while Super Sister was smart and reminded the girls of God’s promise to us that the rainbow signifies.
It was a good day.
Blessings to you and yours,
