The colors of fall are ablaze. In our little neighborhood, the yellow, orange, and red leaves are glistening.
Seeing the gorgeous trees along Campbell Road left me with a sense of awe.
Then I was amazed at what I found as I drove the alleys and streets in our little neighborhood.
Golden yellow leaves shimmer in the sunlight.
Orange and bronze leaves hung from these branches.
These leaves are actually a dark red. So pretty!
Suddenly the old hymn For the Beauty of the Earth started playing in my head.
For the beauty of the earth,
For the beauty of the skies,
For the love which from our birth
Over and around us lies,
Lord of all, to thee we raise
This our grateful hymn of praise.
On this Thanksgiving day, I am so grateful For the Beauty of the Earth.
There are so many things I am thankful for:
My heavenly Father that has supplied me with a peace beyond understanding.
My family that blesses me beyond words.
My friends who love and support me beyond what I deserve.
My readers. It is beyond me why anyone would want to read what I write, but I am so thankful for you.
Blessings to you and yours,
