Dear friends came over to celebrate our nation’s birthday. When planning for the gathering, I wanted to keep things simple, but still festive.
American flags and bunting welcomed our guest to the celebration.
An Old Glory pillow was a good resting place for the patriotic Humpty Dumpty. I have had him a bazillion years, and I still love him.
This was this year’s version of our Fourth of July table. Mason jars were used as vases and small blue jars held patriotic pinwheels.
The Mason jars held white filler flowers and the cutest star-like blue flowers. Miss Jane said she had this blue flower in her garden, and that it was a wildflower, so she did not know its name. She said I could dry it if I want to. The red roses were so pretty at the Krogers, and I thought them perfect for a red, white, and blue arrangement.
With the decorations in place we were ready to party.
Hoping you had a glorious Fourth of July. We did, and I will share more later.
Feeling blessed to live in The Land of the Free. Praying also for our nation.
Blessings to you and yours,
