Swimming Safety – A Public Service Announcement

Posted on: Jun 18, 2014        In: Life and Love        With: No comments

Now that days are beginning to be hot, the swimming pool is getting used more often.  It is a great way to cool off on hot summer days.

Today Hot Rod and Miss Personality enjoyed playing in the pool.

Maggie does not swim.  She just enjoys tormenting the swimmers by barking, and barking, and barking.  I hope the neighbors do not call the police on us for disturbing the peace.

The kids splashed and showed their stunts.

Getting a small ball into the basketball net proved to be a challenge.

These precious children were having a grand time.

As always, we have worried about water safety.  Recently friend BB’s sweet daughter Erin sent me an article she had gotten last year.  Since we have the pool, she thought it was good information for us to know.  I found it very interesting and informative.  I thought it would be something to share with you my dear readers.

Public Service Announcement:

Drowning does not look like it does in the movies.  A drowning person is not screaming and waving their arms.  A drowning person is silent and may go unnoticed.  Click HERE to read the rest of the story.  The article says it so much better than I can.

Thank you Erin.

Blessings to you and yours,
