First, I noticed the landscaping surrounding the meter at a home at the end of my alley. How special for someone to beautify the alley.
While I was taking this picture, a friendly young man came out. I told him how much I liked his alley garden, and I would like to blog about it if it was okay. Luckily he was pleased, and wanted to show me his other gardens.
Moin lives in a duplex and there is not much space between houses, but he has managed to build beds and plant herbs, vegetables, roses, and other plants.
In the small backyard, Moin has tried to make the best use of his space. He has built trellises and connected strings for the climbing plants to grow.
He said these beans are too little. Maybe he will try to plant something else.
Along both sides of the walk on the side of his house are roses – I love roses. Moin does also.
Sweet Mother of Pearl. I do like the branches on this tree in his front yard. He bought some plants to live under the tree this year because it was too hot in his backyard last year for them to survive. I hope they do better under the tree.
It was a pleasure to meet Moin. He invited me to come back in three weeks to a month when things will be producing fruit. I think I will.
Blessings to you and yours,
