Alert! A new business called Richardson Mercantile has opened in Richardson. Richardson Mercantile has various small shops in booths that sell a vast variety of items – antiques, crafts, clothes, decorator items, jewelry, paint, and collectibles. Honestly you can find a little bit of this and that in this mall.
Occasionally I have enjoyed shopping at the Frisco Mercantile, but since one has to travel north on Preston Road almost half-way to Oklahoma to get there, I have been waiting and looking forward to the opening of their new location in Richardson.
Richardson Mercantile is located in the old Whole Foods building on Coit Road just south of Beltline. This new location has plenty of space still available for new merchants, but Super Sister and I found plenty of items that caught our attention.
Some shops offer decorator items.
This shop had leggings, jewelry, scarfs, and much more for good prices.
Be still my heart! I do love this metal figural lamp of a farm couple.
That lamp was in this cute booth.
If you are looking for chalk paint, several booths offered different brands of paint.
What an interesting Santos. I also like the lamps.
At the back of the mall is a small coffee shop.
You can also buy snacks and other drinks. There is a small area to sit and relax.
We met the nicest new dealer named Jenny. Her booth is at the back of the mall. We liked her things, and we liked her.
This is the cutest Texas sign that Jenny created from vintage objects. I like it. I love it.
Across the aisle from Jenny is another new dealer that has some beautiful things. (Sorry, we didn’t get her name.)
Collectible cookie jars and pop culture items filled this colorful booth.
Super Sister and I enjoyed shopping this mall, and yes, we did find cute things to buy. In a couple of weeks, Richardson Mercantile will have a Grand Opening. I plan to be there.
Blessings to you and yours,
