While the chocolate croissants from Trader Joe’s were in the oven, I began thinking, “These puffs of decadent goodness are worthy of a Valentine’s breakfast – Or maybe it would be – A Valentine’s breakfast would be worthy of these croissants.” Either way – I hope you understand what I mean.
A piece of lace (dresser scarf) was placed on the table. From the cupboard, I gathered red chargers, pink transferware plates, and a creamware salad plate. The red and white Valentine’s mugs that I found at Tuesday Morning earlier this year were a good addition to the table. This is so simple, and took a short time to put together. Maybe it isn’t blog worthy, but… I liked it and thought I would share.
The tea towel with red polk-a-dots worked as a napkin.
How about adding the tulips? (The tulips were at Trader Joe’s and somehow got into my cart.) Fresh flowers say love. Agree??
I like them. I love them. Beautiful!
Eggs scramble with turkey sausage, fresh strawberries, and the chocolate croissant made for a delicious breakfast. This was so easy to put together. The croissant did lend a touch of class to the plate.
Blessings to you and yours,
What do you have in your cupboard to use on a table for Valentine’s day?
