Yes, I love Sarah’s back yard.

You can read about it HERE.  As I mentioned before, fellowshipping around the table in Sarah’s backyard made me feel like I had stepped into a decorator magazine.  We were living the good life.  Of course, the day was perfect, and getting to be with dear friends from the Living Stones is always beyond wonderful.  It was a good day.

But, there was more.  Sarah’s living room is also fantastic.  Honestly!  It has been featured in the Dallas Morning News .  For real!

Sarah home is a 1930’s duplex.  The former owner loved yellow, so she had a yellow door.  We loved it.

The wicker table and chairs on the front porch made me want to sit awhile.  I like it.  I love it.

Just had to show you a view of the neighborhood.  Be still my heart.  This is glorious.

Inside glitz and glam is combined with natural elements for a unique look.  From what I hear, the high-end pillows on the Ikea sofa were the beginning inspiration for this room.

I do love the moldings, the niches in the walls and the brickwork on the fireplace.  This room is comfortable and inviting.  Shiny metals and bright colors are combined with rustic elements to  create a room that is cozy and stylish.

Sarah took letters from special people in her life and photocopied them.  This is so personal and touching.  She even has copies of letters from her mother and grandmother.

The letters were photocopied in sepia tones and framed in simple frames.  Such a wonderful original idea.

I love how fresh and refreshing this room is.

It is a blessing to meet Sarah (Thank you Jill.), and to see how she strives to use her gift of hospitality in every aspect of her life.
