It was fun.  Is that rude to say about a party that was held in your home?  I hope not.  Yes, the party was at our home, but the fantastic friends that gathered here made it fun.  Also, they all brought the most wonderful food.

Hot Rod was impressed with Tex.  Tex is cool and in high school.  Need I say more?

See the crowd in my not too large kitchen?  Yes, it was crowded, but in the end we all had plenty to eat.  Just look at that spread.  The food was amazing.  Hope to soon have recipes to share.

Number One Son was not the only person to have a plate full of food.  There were so many choices, and all of the food was delicious.  This is a good way to have a party.  Your guest do most of the work.

David, Tex, Mrs. Ralph, and Wynette.  Dear friends.  So glad they came.

Betty is looking great.  I think she has lost a bazillion pounds.

Carol and Janet are looking forward to their trip to Italy.  I think I would like to go.

Ron and Evelyn are so happy to have Stephanie home for a while.  I love getting to visit with Stephanie.

Jane and John are so cute.  John promised that he would bring his harmonica next time.  I missed hearing him play.

Hot Rod did play his guitar.  Hooray!  He has been taking lessons since January and is doing so well (I know it is grandmother speaking. – but it is the truth.)  Proud Mamma Mikel is cheering for him.

Friend BB is with sister Carol.  I love seeing them laugh.

The guys were visiting on the front porch.  Loved it!

The bench had many visitors during the evening. Glad to see new Granddad John.  (I did not get a picture of Gala.  So sorry.)

This was the only picture I got of Pat (on the right).  I think this was a serious discussion.  Hard to believe, because most of the time there was laughter.

I was touched when Jimmy express how proud he was to be an American.  Yes!

Marge and I taught together.  She was an amazing teacher.  How wonderful that Andy came.  I always love visiting with him.

Friendships are so important, and I feel blessed.  Thanks to all for making this a wonderful evening.  I appreciate your coming, and I love each and every one of you.
