The Living Stones have been rejoicing for Carol and Weldon. They recently moved into their new home, and it is beautiful.
Their new home is a duplex with perks. The landscaping is handled by the association
The mixture of stone and bricks really set these homes apart. I love, love, love the shutters and the wooden details.
What a pretty wreath on the leaded glass door.
Carol and Weldon are at the end of the cul-de-sac. I hope they get to keep this view.
No picture. UGH!! It is hard to believe that I did not get a good picture of the den and kitchen. I did have one picture, but Linda would probably have disowned me if I published it – so I didn’t. I like being her friend.
Hello, Weldon. You are looking good – and good looking. The master bedroom is humongous. I think someone could roller skate in this room.
The master bath is also very large. Plenty of room for a wheelchair. Everything in the house is so new and pristine. Wonderful!
The second bedroom is also their office.
Perhaps my favorite part of their home is the screened in back porch. I like it. I love it. This was Carol and Weldon’s idea. They done good! Just think. They can sit out on this screened in porch and not worry about West Nile.
The back yard is big. Another favorite thing – black iron fencing. The area feels open – not crowded.
What a lovely flower bed in the back yard. Again, the landscaping came with the house.
Carol had promised to make her famous cobblers. We were all were looking forward to cobbler and Blue Bell.
Most of us had to take a little of both the peach and blackberry cobblers. They were both delicious, and the topping of Homemade Vanilla Blue Bell ice cream was the crowning touch.
Excellent Cook Nancy was so funny posturing for the camera. Eating this dessert would make anyone happy.
Carol mentioned that she had been able to go to the service for David Matthew Hood. This little four year old was born with many problems, but through his suffering, he and his family have been ambassadors for Christ. Remember his family in your prayers.
It is a blessing to be a part of this group that loves the Lord and works to be His hands and feet in our world today. They are so generous to fix the meals for Mercy Street and the Well. When needs were presented, there was alway someone to quickly volunteer. Thank you!
Blessings to you and yours,
Carol, thank you for inviting The Living Stones into your lovely home. The cobblers were delicious, and it does my soul good to see you happy.
