Two days away – Valentine’s Day is two days away, and there hasn’t been much time to decorate for the season around our home. Perhaps a couple of touches of love will brighten our abode. What I put together is super, super easy.
A year or two ago I bought these darling beaded hearts. The bright red hearts are tied to the back of the dining room chairs. They instantly give a pop of color and say, “Love”.
Large white beaded hearts hang from the end chairs. Both the red and white hearts give a touch of glitz with little effort.
The large silver bowl filled with greenery, twig balls, and black and white ornaments has been on the dining room table since Christmas. A few of the beaded red hearts were tucked into this arrangement. Too easy!
The tray on the coffee table holds a few odes to Valentine.
Glittery love birds are perched in a little nest.
My keepsake box of letters from Ever-Lovin’ is on this tray also. It is hard to believe that these letters are about fifty years old. They are not mushy love letters, but they represent the faithful upstanding man that won (and still wins) my heart. The little pillow ornament reads, “Messages of Love”. It just seemed meant to be.
Blessings to you and yours,
