Christmas is over. There were to be no more Christmas post, but then Super Sister came to visit with images of a Christmas luncheon that was held at Hill Country Bible Church in Austin, Texas. The December luncheon is an outreach ministry of this large church. Neighbors and friends are invited to celebrate the season and hear the story of the true meaning of Christmas. (By the way, the men of the church serve the ladies. How cool is that?)
Hostesses decorated individual tables, and these tables are worth a look see. There are great ideas that can be adapted to many different tables.
Super Sister’s guest included students from the English Language Classes that are held at the church.
Super Sister was responsible for two tables. One table had a snowman theme. In the center of the table was a festive wreath surrounding a snowman.
Black tablecloths and a black and white checked topper covered the tables. White china sat on black chargers, and notepads with snowman ornaments were favors. Super Sister painted the Christmas stemware several years ago. The silverware was placed in small stockings. Black and white Christmas cards were used for place cards.
Black and silver glitter ornaments adorned this table. Favors were in the red boxes.
I love the silver stockings that were used as napkin rings.
Super Sister’s second table had a cardinal theme. Black chalkboard Christmas tags were attached to the cardinal Christmas cards for place cards. A birdhouse served as the centerpiece.
The table was decorated with a plaid cloth, black chargers, and Lennox cardinal Christmas plates. Silverware was also held in knit stockings. Notepads were given as favors. What a good look!
A Santa holding a cardinal was fortuitously found at Target.
This table used unorthodox Christmas colors – bright pink and teal blue. I think the snowman ornament in the coffee cups are cute.
The cross ornaments on the napkins at this place setting, was beautiful. Using various ornaments was an easy way to make napkin rings.
I have seen tutorials on Pinterest on how to fold napkins into Christmas Tree shapes. I like it!
Traditional greenery with candles is always a good holiday look.
Several tables included sashes around the chairs. This is pretty!
I love these red and white striped plates on the black and white cloth.
This table was elegant.
How magical.
A trifle bowl holds the tree and fairy lights. This could be used in so many settings.
Hope you enjoyed these tablescapes as much as I did. Thank you Super Sister!
Blessings to you and yours,
What a delightful way to reach out to the community and share God’s love.
