It is Fall Festival time at the Dallas Arboretum, and just like a multitude of other parents and grandparents we wanted to take Pretty Baby for a photo shoot. As we started on our quest, I had a few misgivings. It was HOT. (Tied for the hottest day on this date.) Plus, Pretty Baby had refused to take a morning nap. But we were determined and forged on.
As usual, the autumn displays at the Arboretum are beyond beautiful.
Oh-h-h-h… Pretty Baby did not mind sitting among the pumpkins.
“I’m not sure about this headband and bow.”
Ah-h-h-h…
Oh -h-h-h – Just look at those pretty blue eyes.
So cute…
Darling…
Precious…
“Look what I found.” With all the pumpkins and gourds around, she wanted to pick up a piece of straw.
Be still my heart…
Finally it is nap time. Being a model is hard work.
Too many pictures. I agree, but considering I took almost 350 pictures today, I think I showed restraint.
Blessings to you and yours,
Do go to the Arboretum if you can. There are more pumpkins and gourds than ever. It always does my heart good.
When we take Hot Rod, I do hope it will not be so hot.
