When a burger place is the restaurant of choice for a birthday celebration, you know the burgers are delicious.

Number Two Son (With his sweet wife Jenny.) chose Red Robin for his birthday celebration.  it has been a family favorite since Number Three Son lived in the nearby apartments.  Perhaps Red Robin was the first gourmet burger joint I ever visited.

We began the meal with a tower of onion rings.  They are very good, but we did not remember them costing $9.00 when we had ordered them before.  Maybe we will forgo them next time.

Each person in our group ordered a different burger.  One of Red Robin’s claims to fame is that they offer “bottomless French fries”.  Now they also offer bottomless sweet potato fries (Yummy!) and broccoli or carrots. More and more places are offering healthy choices.  Of course, no one in our group ordered the broccoli or carrots.  Maybe next time.

That is one big burger! The burgers at Red Robin are cooked to order and delicious.  Number Two Son raved about how wonderful his birthday celebration was.  Red Robin deserves his praise.

I decided to try something a little different – fish and chips.  The order came with four good sized pieces of fish.  It would definitely be something to share.  The fish had a nice crunchy crust, and was tasty.

Red Robin is located in Garland north of Arapaho at 5031 Garland Avenue.  There are several other location in the Metroplex.

By the way:  They did accept a reservation for our group.  We were happy to know that because often there is a long wait – especially on the weekends.
