Benedict’s is a breakfast, brunch, lunch restaurant that has made several lists as a recommended breakfast eatery in Dallas. We thought we should check it out.

Bikers’ hogs were parked outside the front door.  We took that as a good sign.

Benedict’s is located in Addison on Betline Road at Inwood.

Inside, the decor was pleasant.  The pale yellow walls with white trim was restful.  We were there rather early on a Saturday morning, and there were plenty of waiters standing around (apparently) waiting to serve the crowds.  I do think it gets busy later during brunch hours.

I loved the multi-paned windows and doors.

The menu was extensive, and it was hard to choose.  Sweet Mother of Pearl.  This was the croissant sandwich with eggs, cheese and apple-chicken sausage. (You could choose any other breakfast meat to go in this sandwich.)  The apple-chicken sausage was very tasty.  I loved it.    I have never seen a croissant that large in my entire life.  It was delicious, but there was no way to possible eat a sandwich this large.  The  country skillet potatoes were delicious.  They were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and flavorful.

Ever-Lovin’ ordered the Supreme Omelet.  Supreme it was!  It was filled with the works!  Filled with ham, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, onions, and peppers it lived up to its name.  The omelets were served with the potatoes and toast or English muffin.  It was also very large.  We brought home leftovers.  Yummy!.

I want to return to Benedict’s.  I understand why it has gotten favorable reviews.  Our friendly and helpful waitress suggested we order a Benedict on our next visit.  Duh!  That is probably what we should have ordered at a restaurant named Benedict’s.

FYI:  Benedict’s is open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.  On Saturday and Sunday they are open from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
