Trees

I Tthink that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the sweet earth’s flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

Joyce Kilmer
Ever-Lovin’ reminded me of this poem today.  I had been raving and raving about God’s handiwork for the past week or so.
Fall is in full color in North Texas.  Here are some pictures of trees in my neighborhood.
Some of the trees take my breath away.
The bright reds, oranges, and yellows made a perfect backdrop for Thanksgiving.
This beauty is at Audelia and Centennial.  Like it.  Love it.
This little jewel is on Spring Valley.  To think – all this beauty is in my neighborhood.
Wow!
I know it is blurry.  We were driving in the car, but you can still see the gorgeous color.
With all the fall colors surrounding us, it is hard to believe Christmas trees are also already dazzling us.  This tree at The Shoppes at Legacy is stunning.  Blesses my soul.
Blessings to you and yours,
