Pumpkin Bash at First Baptist Church Richardson is so cool. Here is how it works. The church sponsors a fall gathering for the entire community. It is a time for celebration for church members and anyone else that would like to come. Hopefully members of the community will visit our church campus, get to know us, and return if they do not have a church home.
There were decorated trunks filled with candy treats, games, bounce houses, pony rides, music, and of course food.
Hunting for treats? This was the place to come.
Christian Construction – Aren’t we all “under construction”?
The children loved the ring toss over the construction cones.
Several trunks honored college and sports teams.
Ever-Lovin’ couldn’t wait to tell me there was a Texas Tech trunk. Go Red Raiders!
The Brains!
This was the trunk for all Motor Speedway racing fans. Super!
I like it. I love it! This was beyond wonderful. A ship – Wow!
And the ship came with its own crew. Too cute!
And then there was the “One-Eyed, One-Horned, Flying, Purple, People Eater” brought to you by (drum roll) – us. This year Ever-Lovin’ and I decided to have a trunk. (They were begging.) Be still my heart! We were one of the winners, and we got a real prize. I heard they judged the trunks, and I was just hoping not to embarrass ourselves. Some people actually recognized what it was suppose to be. (Remember the tablecloths from the WOW party? Worked for covering the car.)
The children waited patiently to play games.
There were games of toss.
Ring-around-the-longhorn – What a fun game!
There was even a basketball goal right in the trunk of a pickup.
Every princess deserves a pretty pony to ride.
Love the slide, and the kids did also.
Of course, every party needs music. Good job guys!
There were major bounce houses. I wish they would have had these back in the day. They look like so much fun.
Trying to be a little healthy here. To offset all the candy treats, there were apples and popcorn.
At the end of the party, some lucky people went home with bikes.
It was a beautiful day with happy precious children.
Blessings to you and yours,
Tomorrow I have a bazillion pictures of the children to share with you.
Thanks for reading.
Love ya!
