My first impression of the Boardmoor was a ceiling.

Stars on the domed ceiling literally took my breath away.

This was another ceiling treatment under the portico.

Be still my heart.  Okay, this is not a ceiling, but it is the border on the outside of the hotel, and I liked it.  The detail is amazing!

In the lobby, there were beams with intricate paintings om them.  Wonderful!

Love this!

Is this room ornate enough for you?  It is one of the ballrooms.  I could party here!

Beautiful!  One could study these scenes for a very long time.

Red panels surrounded by dark wooden beams were gorgeous.

The stained glass in the dining room was so pretty.

Beauty surrounded us at The Broadmoor – the rugs and the floors, the art work on the walls, and the ceilings above.  I liked it.  I loved it.
