Super Sister loves to garden, and she has a lovely garden. Come take a tour with me.
Be still my heart. Austin stone boarders the beds. Love the ferns. Oh, see the honeysuckle that covers the arbor. Dream about sitting in this swing on a lazy summer evening, and enjoying the smell of the honeysuckle. Divine!
Everything is so green. How does she do it?
This is a Lady Banks rose. It blooms each spring and is breathtakingly beautiful!
Fountains and birdhouses accent the flower beds.
In late fall or winter, you can cover yourself with an afghan, and be warmed by a fire in the fire pit. Friends and family – especially the grandchildren – enjoy roasting hot dogs and marshmallows.
Many a morning we have lingered over a cup of coffee on her back porch. Beginning your day here is restful, calming, and renews our spirits. Then we are ready for a day of shopping.
That is lavender in the red pot on the table. Just close your eyes and imagine how wonderful it smells.
“Want to play? Come on. Please, play with me.”
How great to bring the inside out. Books on the table are an unexpected touch that looks great.
Handmade stepping stones made by the children are treasured keepsakes. The glass “bird feeder” was created from vintage glassware.
Notice the different textures and colors. Beautiful!
Lanterns with candles provide a nice glow during the evening hours.
At every turn, there is something unusual to see. How cool (sorry) is that fan!
Life began in a garden. In a garden such as this, one cannot help but be reminded of the blessings God gives us.
See why I call her Super Sister! Thank you SS for sharing your garden.
Blessings,
